Chairman's welcome:
Welcome to our Parish Council website.
We will use these pages to keep the community up to date on the activities of the Parish Council and would welcome any feedback, suggestions and help from you on their content and the work we do.
The rural Parish of Redlynch is situated at the far south east corner of Wiltshire some 8-10 miles south of its District Council in the Cathedral City of Salisbury. Part of the parish is within the northern boundary of the New Forest National Park and therefore comes under that authority for planning.
The Parish includes the communities of Hamptworth, Lover, Morgan’s Vale, Nomansland, Redlynch and Woodfalls.
Historically, the Parish was a former forested area with a sparse population which has only seen more significant growth in the last two centuries. Today it has a population of nearly 3,500.
The Communities are thriving with two schools, Sports and Recreational facilities, Local Businesses, Public Houses and Restaurants, Golf Club and a good transport system enabling access to the New Forest, the coast and busy cities as well as the M25, airports and train stations.
Please enjoy our website; links where possible have been provided to local businesses and organisations.
